Oral Conscious Sedation
Another method of receiving relaxing dental treatment is oral conscious sedation. For this type of sedation, a pill is typically taken an hour before the procedure.
This pill is a minimal sedative — you will be drowsy for the procedure, but still awake. You'll still be able to respond to your dentist's commands, but you may not remember everything after the procedure. More time is needed for recovery from oral sedation compared to Nitrous Oxide, and you will need an escort to drive you home.« Back to Services
