Dr. Caroline Labritz gained an interest in dentistry at a young age by working multiple summers and holidays with her father, Dr. P. Ronald Graziani, who maintained a successful practice in Fairmont since 1976. These experiences fueled her desire to eventually follow in his footsteps and pursue dentistry herself.
Dr. Labritz graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2004 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. She spent her first six years practicing in Morgantown until coming back to Fairmont in 2010 to practice with her father in the Graziani Labritz Dentistry practice.
Feeling a desire to return to Morgantown after years in Fairmont, Dr.Labritz made her return in 2016. Now back in Morgantown, she joined forces with Dr. Diana Frum to form Dental Arts which would eventually become Sorriso Dental. Sorriso meaning “Smile” in Italian, Dr.Labritz wanted to pay respects to its previous dentists, Dr. P. Ronald Graziani and Dr. Diana Frum, both of whom have significant Italian heritage.
Dr. Labritz is an avid learner and researcher with a passion for Dentistry. She invests a great deal of time on Continuing Education hours in order to provide the highest quality treatments for her patients. Dr. Labritz is a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association, member of the American Association of Implant Dentistry, member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Monongalia Dental Association, West Virginia Dental Association, and American Dental Association. With additional training in dental implants, modern Root Canal Therapy, Invisalign, Cosmetic Makeovers, you will find her very knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry.
Patients quickly appreciate her gentle manner and her love for children. Dr. Labritz has a special place for children and prides herself in her ability to calm dental fear in children and make them feel at ease in the office.
After years of training and study she has become a proud member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) with certifications in Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) as well as being a board certified Biological Dentist with the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine (IABDM).
Her specialization into Biological dentistry helps Dr. Labritz to work with patients to find the “root cause” of their health issues much more than simply diagnosing and treating symptoms and byproducts of patient nutrition, behavior, and disease.
In her personal life, Dr. Labritz is married with two active boys. She enjoys baking, cooking, and getting lost in a great book in her free time. She is very active in both fitness and nutrition; inspired by her passion for overall health.
Dr. Makhdoom was born and raised in Pakistan, in the northern city of Rawalpindi. She is the youngest of three siblings. She graduated as a dentist from National University of Science and Technology in Pakistan in 2010, and practiced in her home city for a few years. She later moved to the US in 2015 to join her husband, who was a medical resident in Cooperstown, NY at the time.
Given her passion for dentistry, Dr. Makhdoom remained eager to return to the profession again. She joined the dentistry department at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania to learn more about the system in the US, shadowing the dentists there and also working as a research assistant. She later enrolled in the DDS program at SUNY/University at Buffalo and graduated in 2021. She moved to Morgantown, WV later in the year along with her husband, who has joined Ruby Memorial Hospital, and their two kids.
Dr. Makhdoom is very excited about the next step in her professional career, and is joining Sorriso Dental as an associate dentist. She is very enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the lives of her patients, and is very compassionate and caring. Given her background, she brings a unique perspective to the practice. She is committed to providing the highest level of care to her patients, and constantly strives to improve and grow as a professional.
When not working, Dr. Makhdoom enjoys spending time with her two toddlers. She also enjoys traveling around, meeting new people and learning about the culture of different places. She is also a nature lover, and enjoys visiting lakes and mountainous areas.
Stephanie graduated from West Virginia University School of Dental Hygiene in 2007. She loves meeting new patients and helping them reach their optimal dental health. She enjoys the positive environment and teamwork present at Sorriso Dental and the opportunity to work with up-to-date equipment and technology.
Stephanie is a Morgantown native, who is married with three children. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and watching her children play sports.
Cassie is originally from Parkersburg, West Virginia and moved to Morgantown in 2011. She studied Biology at West Virginia State University and received her dental hygiene degree from West Liberty University.
Cassie has worked in a dental office since her first job at age 16. Working in an orthodontic office and as a dental assistant prior to attending hygiene school gave her plenty of opportunity to fall in love with the dental field.
She enjoys working at Sorriso Dental because she has the opportunity to provide care with the best equipment and truly work in an environment where the standard of care is important.
Cassie is married and has a miniature Australian Shepherd named Lacy Grey. She loves to bowl and play softball as well as spend time with her family and all of their Aussies.
Kristen graduated from West Virginia University School with her degree in dental hygiene in 2010. You will find that Kristen is compassionate, puts her patients at ease and ensures a positive dental experience. She spends time outside of the office staying up to date with dentistry so she is able to educate patients at Sorriso and help them maintain healthy smiles and bodies.
She currently resides in Morgantown with her two cats, Baloo and Stella. When she is not at work she enjoys kayaking, reading books, and keeping up with mountaineer sports.
